Hi all, I need help in Web Application Server connection testing on Enterprise Portal. I want to establish a connection between EP and SRM System.
All the three connection test where carried out. ITS connection and connect Connection all passed. However WAS
connection failed.
Only Was Host name and Was protocol properties were entered. Is it conpulsory to enter the WAS Path? Please advice me.
Thanks
Dakata A. Ibrahim
Abdu: the answer is it depends on which BSP applications you will access and how you will access them.
See SAP note 761917 for details.
The WAS path can be empty for example if you are accessing BSP applications from different namespaces. In that case you would leave the WAS path empty and always maintain the complete URL in iViews.

Hi Abdu
I dont think there is need to establish WAS connection for connecting between EP and SRM System.
And If you want to establish WAS connection try giving the IP address of your R/3 system
