hi gurus,
please tell me what will happen if we do full load after delta initialization in lo cock pit...
thanks
venkateshveera
Hi Venkatesh,
You need to do the full load as Repair Full load request. This request can be updated into the data target even if the data target already contains data from an initialization run or delta
Can you please go through with below link,

Hi,
R/3 to PSA: you can do the full load after delta but if you can indicate a request with full-update mode as Repair Full Request otherwise it will disturb the delta.
PSA to DSO: you can do the full load after delta to DSO but you can not activate that full load request.
DSO to CUBE: you can do the full load after delta to cube but if the cube is getting regular delta and summarizes the data so you will get the double values/ duplicate values
Delete the data and do the full load that way you can get the correct values.

Hi Malyadri,
Well explained 3 cases. By mistakenly i did the second one PSA to DSO in our test system. Now that full request is not getting activated and not able to delete as well. Now I stuck here and this DSO become unusable. We have upgrade very shortly and entire team struggling a lot to fix this.
Can any one please help to fix that full request. I couldn't be able to do full request since PSA doesn't have all data and since the data is huge we can't be able to do full load from ECC as well.
Thank you in advance.
hi arun,
tell me the reason for failure of dso.
ex: name company salary
venkatesh adp 10000 full load
swaroop ncc 5000
--------------------------------------------------------------
venkatesh adp 3000
naresh tcs 2000 delta load
venkatesh adp 1000
karthik icici 1000
so please tell me by using this example with infocube and dso
thanks

Hi Venkat,
For DSO :
If you do full load after delta init or delta load, the full load request will load but the next Delta request will get fail.
SOLUTION : To overcome the delta failure , instead of full load use repair full request.
For CUBE:
If you do full load after delta init or delta load, the full load request will load. Then the next Delta request also load without any issues.
Hope it'll helps.

Hi Venkat,
From your above example if you are loading data to info cube in this way,
Full load = Venkatesh
Init delta
Delta : Swaroop
Full : Naresh
Delta : Karthik
Here you won't face any issues by loading this way into info cube.
For loading data to DSO :
Full load = Venkatesh
Init delta
Delta : Swaroop
Full : Naresh
Delta : Karthik ----> Here you load will fail , because you are disturbing the DELTA behaviour.
If you do full repair request,
Full load = Venkatesh
Init delta
Delta : Swaroop
Full Repair request: Naresh
Delta : Karthik
You won't face any issues.
