Fiori Adaptation Project on local do not load the changes folder if the project is deployed

I've been working on a fiori adaptation project and I've noticed something strange. When I run the app locally (before any deployment) the local changes I made is loaded in the changes folder as you see below in the screenshot:

But after I deploy the app and want to make some further changes in my local, the local changes are not loaded, instead it loads the deployed variant only and do not load the local changes folder anymore.

Can you direct me to what I am missing here? I just want to do some more changes to an adaptation that I've deployed some time ago.
