Extend UI5 Library HCMFAB_COMMON

Hello Experts,

We are implementing SAP FIORI 2.0 HCM FIORI apps. Some of these apps uses HCMFAB_COMMON control library to provide the standard header/Banner in FIORI apps. We need to enhance the standard header/Banner in order to add few other fields, and therefore looking for ways to extend the standard SAPUI5 control library HCMFAB_COMMON (Deployed in SAP Gateway).

I know how to extend the control provided in the library inside the FIORI app extension that uses this library. However, With this method, I will have to extend each FIORI app which uses that library in order to enhance the header.

I am looking for a way to enhance/extend the UI5 library so that I don't have to extend each FIORI app.

du hast doch bereits eine Lösung gefunden, wie man die Library erweitern kann oder?

Kannst du dich mal bei mir melden? Ich habe gerade das gleiche Problem.

Did you get a resolution for this issue? I have a similar use case and I could not find anything for it.
