While installing WAS 640 SP11 on a windows box, /usr/sap is always installed in c:\ drive despite choosing 'd' drive for instance dependant software location (Infact, for all 'D' drive is chosen).
This issue persists even after hardcoding 'D' drive in control.xml
Is there anyway we can put /usr/sap things in other than 'C' drive. Tks.

Hi,
I have solved this by editing all the "setsapdrive" functions (There were 4 of them) in the control.xml and replaced the logic by inserting "D:/". (make sure you edit the right control.xml from the COPY directory of the installation cd )
Then I started the installation and the usr/SAp directory was installed on drive D.
