1.Value description maintaining long des in master data
2.Bex description we mentioned short descrption

1001 XYZ
Bex des:-
Hi Velu,
check the transformation mappings for Short text.
For now you can change the Bex settings to show long text in query.
Or else you can change the setting of the info-object and make it long description in bex description option.
Please mark the helpful or correct answers for future references.

Hi Velu,
since the account is a compunded char, the text is only available for the combination of chart of accounts and account.
so you will have to work a bit on the selection of the chart of accounts.
Did you select one fixed chart of accounts in the query filter?
regards
Cornelia

Hi,
Please check whether the following explanation helps you:
"Can you please check whether in the relevant BW Backend system, in transaction RSD1,
for the characteristic on which variable(where the problem mentioned here
is occurring) is created, what is the display setting
under tab 'Business Explorer'.
The display should be set to 'Key and Text'.
If the problem persists, can you please check whether in the relevant BW Backend system, in transaction RSDCUBE -> Enter the relevant InfoCube related to the characteristic
on which variable(where the problem mentioned here is occuring) is created -> Click on Display -> In the page appearing, go to the relevant characteristic on which variable(where the problem
mentioned here is occurring) is created -> right click ->
click on Provider Specific Properties -> Check what is maintained for
Display (present under Object-Specific Properties)
The display should be set to '3. Text and Key'.
This setting on InfoCube level (RSDCUBE) will supersede the setting made
on InfoObject Level (RSD1) for the F4 display on variable screen
in Java runtime."
Thanks & Regards,
Sapna
Hi Sapna,
Thanks for your reply,
This report based on the multiprovider, it having FY cube 2008 to 2015 and that info object contain all the cubes.
I will try in DEV. If it is successful means, can i change all the cube and move to production and also this is very difficult to change all the cube and move to PROD system right?
Please give me suggest on this.
