CBO UI App - Custom Catalog Extensions - Add to Business Catalog

Hi,

In SAP Public Cloud we have several CBO with UI applications.According to document documentation Custom Catalog Extensions are generated, and after we need to assign it to a Business Catalog.(only standard one - in the popup to select business catalogs).

How can we add to Customer Business Catalog(YY*)? I need to create separare business roles to restrict access to CBO UI Apps and with standard ones it's not possible.

Hi,

the CBO UIs can be assigned to standard business catalogs (via the "Custom Catalog Extensions" app). You can then create customer specific business roles, which in turn would be assigned to the standard business catalog.

Hi,

Custom Catalog Extension based on CBOs (such as CDS Views or queries) as well as Custom Tiles are added to business catalogs in the customizing tenant - these are called key user extensibilities which are only possible in SAP Standard Catalogs. It is not possible to add these to custom catalogs (Developer Extensibility), since custom catalogs are maintained in the development tenant.
