C4C: Customer Placeholder for E-Mail Template

Dear Expert,

we are trying to use workflow rule to trigger E-Mail in context of BO CustomerQuote.

In order to change email body text at run time, we have to involve some placeholders.

However the placeholders are only limited to elements of the BO CustomerQuote.

So my question is: How can we define a custom placeholder which contains information on the other levels , e.g., birthdate of customer, who got this quote, or something like Email of contact person?

I knew there is BADI CustomerQuoteOutput. Using this we could change the E-Mail body. But it makes only sense in context of submitting a quote. In my case this BADI is not called at all.

So does anybody have good idea?

Alternatively, we could add those information as z-fields in the BO, to make them available in workflow rule. But that is not I want, because I don't like to put every things into one single object.

Best wishes

Peter
