BRF+ compiling every time the function is called

Hi,

we are calling a BRF+ Function from ERP using the generated "Create code template" button in BRF+.

We've noticed that every time the function is called, we can see the "Compiling..." message in the status bar as shown below.

I assume this is not how it should work and might create some perfomance issues in production.

We've searched the community and notes without any success.

The environment is SAP_BASIS 740 SP17 (SAPKB74017)

Does anyone knows what can be causing this and how to prevent the system from compiling the BRF+ function every time it is called?
