Consume SOAP API within the same S4HANA Cloud

Dear Experts,

I am building a developer extension in S4HANA Cloud.  I need to consume a SOAP API for posting some data into S4H.  I can call this API from SAPUI5 to post but I am exploring the possibility of calling the API within S4H using RAP.  I am not sure how to do this.

Any help is appreciated as this will help me process volume data using the custom App.

Dear Tuncay, Thanks for the references. I tried this already and I am able to consume the SOAP service as an "External Service". I am reaching out to see if there is a way I can consume it internally as another RAP object or FM or Class, simply as another technical object.
