BO and Hyperion Integration - Merge Dimension

Hi All,

I have a problem with the merge dimensions in WebIntelligence, where I have two universes connecting with two differents Hyperion cubes.

In the WebIntelligence, to execute a query I tried to do the merge dimension and simply didn´t show any dimension to merge.

If anyone has encountered this problem, I accept suggestions and assistance on how to solve this problem.

Hi,

Usually the merge happens by itself when the objects from different data providers are of the same name.

However, you can still merge them manually at the report level if the merge has not happened by itself. You can find this option on the 3rd or 4th icon from the left on the toolbar. Once you click this, a window will pop up giving you dimensions from all the data providers. You can click on the objects you want to merge and say MERGE - you can give a name of your choice here.
