Add Custom Attribute in Approval Process

We are using IdM 8.0, exploring option to add additional attribute while approving access request under ToDo Tab in IdM.

Like currently while an approver clicks on Approve button under ToDo it pops up with Valid to, Valid From and Approval Reason Field by default however we are looking to another custom attribute in same popup.

Please assist me to accomplish that?

Hello Ravi,

if you aren't to dependent on the "Enhanced Approval UI", then just deactivate it. You will be back to the old "to do"-tab view and have full reign over how to set up the approval tasks.

We have a lot of custom fields and information on the approval tasks and this is the way to go for us. Also, the "new" to do-tab is not doing much for us, because you can't really customize it, the information it shows or the details tabs at the bottom.

All those problems are gone, if you deactivate the "Enhanced Approval UI" thing (in the DB, the removed the option in eclipse), but so it the delegation workflow. If you use that.

Hi Ravi,

AFAIK this is not possible with standard UI in SAP IdM.

You could look into building your own approval UIs using REST-API in order to accomplish that but it would mean some decent effort.
