Stop Rumours about Adobe LiveCycle Designer (ALD)

TRUE: Adobe has discontinued core technical support for Adobe’s own LiveCycle Designer as of March 2018.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE: With SAP there is NO end-of-life for SAP’s LiveCycle Designer (Adobe LiveCycle Designer for SAP solutions). It continues to be supported and there are a couple of notes about it that you can always consult. One useful note is: 2187332. There’s also a note about the maintenance strategy of the Designer: 2763928.

ALSO TRUE: Adobe LiveCycle Designer for SAP solutions (ALD) is not to be confused with Adobe’s own LiveCycle Designer which is from Adobe and costs money. Our customers who use forms by Adobe only need SAP’s ALD and it is free-of-charge.

The current version is ADOBE LIVECYCLE DESIGNER for SAP solutions 11.0.
