I agree with the perspective that technological innovation, including AI, is a tool that can lead us to success if we utilize it effectively. It’s not about replacing us but enhancing our capabilities and helping us visualize and solve problems in ways we couldn’t before.

Regarding SAP BASIS, while it’s true that the landscape is changing with the advent of cloud platforms and initiatives like RISE with SAP, the core understanding of how SAP works that BASIS professionals bring is invaluable. BASIS is more than just installation, upgradation, or maintenance. It’s about understanding the client’s business needs and providing technical solutions to meet those needs.

The key, as with any profession, is to adapt and evolve. Learning new concepts, like Agile methodologies, and gaining a deeper understanding of business problem statements will indeed be crucial for BASIS professionals to stay relevant in this changing landscape.
