Hi All, ( Rules Based is activated)
there are two storage locations in plant A .
Full , Part.
For some customers i want to check only in storage location 'Full' ,which i am putting in the line item in Sales Order through user exit.
But if stock is not available then it again searches the storage location 'Part 'in plant A .
This doesnt happen if rules based check are switched off. But i want rules based and also want the system not to check other storage locations when we dont have inventory in 'FULL' storage location.
regards,
Biswajit Sahoo
Hi Biswajeet,
Currently it seems you have defined one substitution rule of full/ part for all the customers. When you keep RBA switched off no substitution is carried out and so you do not face any probelm while when RBA is activated the full storage location gets substitiuted by the Part storage location.
You can very well proceed the way Deepthi has mentioned by using 2 rules. This will serve your purpose.

Hi,
You can convert storage locations as MRP Areas in ECC and CIF them to APO.
Build your rules based upon MRP areas.

HI,
Create two rules with location substitutions. Rule 1 -
Plant A , FULL. Rule 2 -
Plant A,Part.
Now define condition determination by sold to party...and you may include other fields where you would like to have as condition.
So define condition determination as (sold to party (A to L) -
Rule 1.
Sold to party (M to Z ) as Rule 2.
Best Regards,
Deepthi
