Flat file from Tendering without RFQ

Hello All,

We need to use direct tendering in S/4 hana TM . we dont want to use RFQ . How to do this ? Also When we publish the tender, we want to send a Flat file to Middleware. How can we achive the same. Do we need to use PPF action based on tendering status (published) but how to trigger a flat file from PPF.

send to carrier automatically triggers a PPF when tendering is published ?

iam new to SAP TM. close to no blogs on SAP TM on many functionalities in a step by step manner on any topic. help.sap.com is not of much help.

the issue is when i select direct tendering, I have to use the option "insert carrier" to add the carrier and then the system generates the RFQ sequence number. Only then system allows to publish the tender. Is this the correct way of doing direct tendering ? we do not want RFQ seuence number to be generated !

In case you are not using auto carrier selection, waterfall or broadcast, , then this is the another option to assign carrier directly to FO and then tender. It all depend upon on business requirement. Assigning carrier directly to FO and subcontracting is also ok if business accept this.
