Like profile for new SKU

Hello All,

I wanted to understand the Like profile behaviour in forecast generation.

Example:  I have old SKU A and New SKU B.

-->I assigned Like profile of A to new SKU  B for Period of last 3 weeks.

In the above scenario,SKU B's forecast can be generated for coming 3 weeks?

I wanted to understand  what happens after  next 3 weeks, whether SKU B will refer its own history after 3 weeks automatically or I will have to maintain some settings?
