Usage of FTP Output Directory and Export Directory

Dear Experts ,

In Integrated System Config-->FTP Export Configuration , there are fields FTP Output Directory and Export Directory. How are they different in terms of usage in Sourcing? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Harmeet,

It’s either or.  If Use FTP is checked, then the system would use FTP. If Use FTP is unchecked, the system will use the Export Directory. In fact, if you leave Use FTP unchecked and not enter a value for Export Directory you would get an error message when saving ISC.

What are the recommendations for using export or output directory ?
