Hi All,

In SRM system, factory calendar is being shown as till year 2010.So I have extended this till 2012.How to test whether this is working fine or not.

What happens if we create a shopping cart for the date which is not present in factory calendar?

Hello pavithra,

No check is done in standard for purchasing document ( BBP_PD application area) regarding factory calendar.

So, when creating a purchasing document with date outside from SRM factory calendar, you will not be informed by any message. As a consequence, you can have errors in R/3 when corresponding document will be replicated.

One way to avoid this situation is to customize message control for message number 802 from message class BBP_PD.

Other solution is to request the factory calendar data via RFC from the backend.

For this, have a look at OSS note 1467113 - Factory Calendar is not available in SRM.
