Clariffications on ITS concepts

Dear Experts,

Please clarify the following related to ITS concepts

1 Is Initial request for set up R/3 connection (immediately after user logs on) is sent by the web Server to ITS u2013 T/F

2 Templates are published to W-gate via RFC u2013 T/F

3 If we just created a confirmation for a backend product, will these connections be active at that time

a. http between IE and W Gate

b. RFC between A gate and SRM
