Approver apearing 2 times

Hi ,

For shopping cart approval , the 1st level approver is appearing 2 times .

is there any issue in workflow ? cart is in awating approval status

1st level approver already approved once ,

How can the cart be forrwarded to next approver .

Hi,

I think the Requester has added the approver as an Ad-hoc approver and the next is the approver determined by the System. Due to this the approver might have been derived twice.

There could be many reasons why the approver has received the WI twice.

Please also, check the WFL container.

Please check the scenario and analyze why the approver got determined twice.

For forwarding the WI , it can be done through SWI6/SWIA or through FM as well.

You can use SWI5 to identify the work item from the current approver and also forward it to next from there.

You mentioned that, the first approver approved the document and cart went for his approval again?

Check in SWI1 if the approval work item which first approver approved has status LOGICALLY DELETED?

I have observed this a few a times in my system too.
