Tag data from SAP PCo - PCo query or Tag query

Hello All,

I have a scenario where tag data (pic1) is coming from SAP PCo and In MII need to calculate the quantity (max-min or positive variance) and post back to ECC.

I saw tag query has the methods - max, min ,avg,total and thought of using the same however I am getting error - java.io.EFO.exception under mode(pic2). At MII home page, under data server connection I created UDC connector and gave the PCo server NAT ip and agent port 9000. (pic3)

PCo Query and PCo connector is running fine. Even tag query is fine with simulator as data source

1. Foremost, which query is more suited for the scenario mentioned above - Tag or PCo

2.How can I make tag query work ( I read few blog suggesting to check version)

For this landscape, MII 15.1 SP5

3. Any other suggestion, which I am overlooking wrt handling data from PCo.

For PCo data server configuration in MII, I asked network team to allow 9000 agent port and 50050 port.Similarly do i need to allow any other port for UDC data server configuration in MII??

Hi,

You should configure the dataserver in MII as a PCoConnecter and not a UDC.
