PreRequisites to set TECO to a Work Order linked to a Notification

Hi Experts,

I am new to PM Module, can any one tell me what are the Conditions at which we can set TECO to a Work Order.

I had created notification and then Work Order, but we want to TECO the Work Order,but it is not allowing us to set TECO to the Work order.

Can any one provide me Prerequisites to set TECO to Work Order which is linked to a Notification.
