Difference betwen Owner and Legal owner on a Land Register in RE-FX LUM

Hi REFX experts

In the sub module LUM (Land Use Management), there are two Business Partner options on a Land Register (representation of ownership certificate/title deed): An owner or a legal owner. What is the difference between the Owner role and the Legal Owner role? Surely the owner is the legal owner?

Hi Joe, I probably don't have a very clear answer for you. I can imagine that legally there are different forms of ownership. Keep in mind that the LUM solution was originally developed for Germany and a lot of the functionality is specific to the German legal requirements. Depending on the Country you are implementing this solution for you might not find the standard available roles very useful. You can simply remove the BP assignment option if one of the roles isn't suitable.
