Hello,
If I make one cost center in SAP and I have four work centers. So can I assign all the Work Centers to the single Cost Center I created earlier
Or
I have to make Separate Cost Center for each of my work Centers???
Regards,
Piyush

Hi,
You can assign a cost center to one or more work centers, you need not have to create separate cost center.
Also remember than one work center can be assigned only one cost center & not more than one.

Hi Piyush,
For Eg: There are three work center W1,W2 & W3.
There are two cost center 5250, 5350
In the costing tab page of the workcenter (CR01/CR02) we can assign the cost center.
i.e. cost center 5250 can be assigned to W1, W2 & W3.
But For one work center i.e. W1 cost centers 5250 & 5350 both cannot be assigned. i.e. One work center can be assigned only one cost center.
Hope this helps,

Hi
As per Std SAP "For any one validity period you can assign a work center to only one cost center.
You can assign several work centers in different plants to one cost center. The work centers must belong to the same company code as the cost center."
