we are doing the paper work to buy a SAP CAL subscription, how long will be the CAL available to unlock?

Hi Jerry,
since you are an SAP employee, feel free to contact me via email for details (SAP-internally you don't need a CAL subscription).
The first blog listed by Neeraj explains it for SAP customers/partners:
In a nutshell, in the first 30 days all SAP licenses are waived, afterwards a CAL subscription (and the respective product license eg. S/4HANA) is required. This can run as long as needed and you can also keep the changes that you did in your system during the first 30 days.
