Dear All
I am not able to create sale order for customer of two/ three division. [Example we have 4 division 01. Natural color 02. syntheticolor 03. Energy 04. drug and cosmetic]
Should i create one sales area and extend to another or Should i create one common division.
Please kindly tell me in detail what all customizing is required
Regards
SB
Hi sandeep
If you want to create the customer in another sales area then you need to extend that customer
say your sales orgn is 1000 dist 10 div 01/02/03
you have maintained customer in 1000/10/01 .Now you extend the customer by going to XD01or VD01 and give the sales orgn and dist channel and change the division say for example 1000/10/02 .
second option is maintain common distrubution channels and common divisions in VOR1 and VOR2
Hope this inputs helps you

Dear Sandeep
The simple solution is that you assign those Item Divisions to Common Division in VOR2, so that you can create one sale order for all these divisions.
thanks

Dear Lakshmipati
Thanks for the reply. I have created a common division and assigned to DIVCON in VOR2.
Should i assign this common division to DIVCUS?. Reason is i am getting error as. Ship to party is not defined for sales area.
When i am extending customer to the above sales area. Error is solved.
For this shall i assign to common division to DIVCUS.
