Text ID Error in Migration Cockpit

Hello everybody,

While trying to upload sales data for Customer Master extension with Migration cockpit, we encounter an issue concerning Sales Organization Text and more particularly with TEXT ID field.

Although in the mapping tasks of the cockpit, I have assigned a a KNVV value to the value from my file, we get as an error message :

Text ID *** is not valid for KNVV.

I don't understand why we get this error since we assigned a KNVV value to the value from our extract.

Hi Mathias Sanchez y Garcia,

We found the issue in our project. The Text Determination Strategy was not maintained for all account groups.

Please check the following path in SPRO: Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Text Control -> Define and Assign Text Determination Procedures. Choose Text Object Customer -> Sales & Distribution.

You can also check table TKUPA to see if field "TextDetProc SD" (TXTGV) is maintained for the correct Account Groups.
