Hi SAP Community!

May I ask if SAP has standard template for Project Implementation Planning and estimated Mandays per Phase in implementing SAP S/4 HANA CLOUD Public Edition?

Thanks in advance!

I really think that this cannot be standardized.

Implementation is typically dependent on various topics like no. of companies, no. of countries, functional LoBs, integrations with SAP and third party, localisations, extensions etc..

Plan depends and varies there by.

Hello

In the Supply Chain of Selling in the Digital Discovery Assessment (DDA) there is an Effort Estimate in Days but this is by line of business based on the scope items selected.

Quote from the DDA:

The following estimation is provided by SAP to give an indication of effort required for the scope items selected within the Digital Discovery Assessment. The days attributed to scope items do not account for governance, testing, data migration, integrations, change management, number of countries or localization requirements outside of those delivered in standard, legal entities, or any additional requirements the customer may have in the context of their project. These elements which are customer specific, must be estimated separately based on customer context. The estimates are to be used as a foundation for solutioning only. SAP requests that the use of these estimates is done so with context of the customer in mind. SAP is not responsible for how these days are delivered and does not take responsibility for any over or under estimations on partner implementation led projects. SAP recommend Certified S/4HANA Cloud consultants with public cloud experience on projects.SAP suggests any partner using these estimates to consider the scope items delivered under SAP baseline, to avoid duplication of effort. Scope items which attribute a “zero” outcome, either take less than one day to implement, or are under revision by SAP. SAP would suggest adding contingency where necessary and appropriate to consider additional requirements such as localization outside of those delivered in standard. Scope item effort estimates may change from time to time therefore you should use the DDA to generate the latest effort estimations while being aware that certain scope items may not be covered or are under revision.

Cheers
