Missing Functional Location Change Log

Hi Experts,

One of our customer claimed that he change the cost centre of a Floc on 08/11/2023 but it does not recorded in the Change Documents of the Floc. However, the change log recorded the previous cost centre change in 04/07/2023. Below is the change log

Below is the current cost center of the floc (change log displays the old cc=9211775)

However, the Administrative Info of the floc shows that there was a change in 08/11/2023

In the configuration, "Change Documents" has been ticked for the particular Floc category

Further, there was no records in either CDHDR or CDPOS tables with respect to Cost Center change.

Appreciate your thoughts/suggestions on the issue

Hi,

If the cost Centre is changed, it would be logged in changed log. If not, then its not captured. Unless the update is done thorough interface or custom transaction, which might have not updated the cost center.

Also, check out the superior, whether the cost center is copied from superior FL or EQ, during installation.

Else, you need to inform the user, this is one off case, which cannot be analyzed further. If this issue occurs we can analyze more. 

You need to ask the user to replicate similar case, else inform him he might have not saved properly.
