Import Goods Movement Goods Issue from excel

Dear Experts,

Can we import Post Goods Movement -> Goods Issue (Other) from excel to SAP?

Because customer have requirement to use it because of number of data that have to be input.

Would recommend you provide some more detail about the process you want address. For example, is this manufacturing ? Delivery Management?

Assume you are referring to the legacy app: https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/index.html#/detail/Apps('MIGO_GI')...

There may be a new Fiori based app or the GI might be embedded in the best practice. For example: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/aff0b3f5f46c42a2b2c0fabfc233bab2/64f81a71edf5490ab522a829...

If you need to do mass postings, it is typically recommended to investigate the use of an api such as https://api.sap.com/api/API_MATERIAL_DOCUMENT_SRV/overview

Hi @Jerry_Lowery! Thanks for the answer. This is for the manufacturing, we already recommend to use the app for GI, but they want to do mass posting all at once. They don't want to input data one by one because of the data to input is too many. So we can use the API for this case ? Thankyou!

HI @Arielgwyn , They can also consider the apps like Confirm Production Operation which allows them to do scanning of barcodes.

As it is production order related (or process order, there is an API for that too), they can also consider the API Production Order Confirmation https://api.sap.com/api/API_PROD_ORDER_CONFIRMATION_2_SRV/overview

Where they can also log the time ticket, goods movement, etc.
