How to Edit the IT2006 Deduction Number(KVERB) field

Hello,

I want to edit the Deduction Number(KVERB) in IT 2006 as it is greyed out and I tried it doing through SE16n by typing the command statement & SAP_EDIT but my basis team is saying it will not work for ERP6.0 EHP5.(ours system has)

Is there any alternative way to edit.
