One AUC asset needs to be expensed. It was decided that this asset was not going to be capitalized. How can I close this AUC asset without creating an Asset.
You no needed to create an Asset. You just post one simple Journal entry using the T-code F-02, Debit Expense Account and Credit the AUC Asset by that time AUC Asset value becomes Zero. I hope this will help.
