Fixed Assets Add-on: Depreciation account does not exist (line item 1)

Dear Experts,

i am using sap business one 8.82 PL04. when i am making retirement i am getting

"21120: Depreciation account  does not exist (line item 1)"

The GL account determination was set correctly. i have already make a depreciation and had a correct Journal Entry.

did i missed something?

Hi,

One of the things that you need to check is if all the GL Account displayed in the Account definition does really exist in the Chart of Accounts.

In certain localizations, the initialization process of the Add-on populates and creates several  GL accounts determinations with accounts on display that not necessarily exists in the Chart of Accounts

Please click in the GL account and check that really links to an actual GL Account in Chart of Accounts

Another thing that you should check is the Assets Class of the asset, and see if all areas have a defined GL Account determination

As well do the obvious test in back up, and add one by one all the possible GL accounts available for definition in the GL account determination until it goes right (check later Journal entry to see what Account was used)
