Hi Team,
We developed a mobile app that integrates with SAP Business One to create some marketing documents.
The B1 server have the self signed SSL certificate installed.
When we try to connect to this server we got this error: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.
My Questions
Is there any way to disable/bypass this SSL check?
Are there any alternatives other than purchasing a certificate from trusted CA authority (either single domain or wildcard certificate) for the time being?
I referenced SAP Note #2019275, but I don't think the provided solutions would help.
Thanks! BR, Mohamed
Hi, Mohamed.
You should never bypass SSL for productive environments.
You can get a signed certificate for free with Let's Encrypt.
