CDS View or API for Asset dispaly vaultion report (Public Cloud 3SL )

Hello All ,

We have new requirement from customer on Asset report which contain details like Asset number , deprecation start date , use life , and need planned deprecation month wise till the useful life of particular asset .

Asset ID

Company Code

Cost Center

Capitalized Amount

Depreciation Start date

Depreciation End Date

Fiscal Year

Fiscal Period

Depreciation Amount

Currency

Net Value

We didn’t find any report in standard SAP , hence we want to develop new extension for the same .

To create a new report, we need APIs or whitelisted CDS views.

We couldn’t find any Asset -Depreciation Balance fields like Depreciation Status and OrdinaryDeprAmtInDspCrcy in any Asset related whitelisted CDS views or in Asset related APIs.

We have checked in below whitelisted CDS views.

On this CDS view you can see what key figures are available and see if there is one that suits your needs.

You can find all the available key figures that might help narrow your search down.

For Depreciation Status, what do you mean by that, planned or posted?
