Hello,
Is it possible to get warning message when user imputs his/her hours more than 50% of the work planned for him in a day.
In data entry profile there is one field downward tolerance and upward tolerance.
Will these field are for this only?
Thanks in advance.

Shubham
Hi,
yes you right assume change in CAC1 transaction as data entry profile.
it will work fine as you define parameter as more then 50% then error test with dev client you will get it.

Hi Sanjeev,
I have tried using those fields but exactly what is required is:
Total planned hours are 8. I want warning when somebody enters 4 hours or more.
Right now, if I set upward tolerance as 50%, then system is calculating 8+4=12 hrs and if more than 12 hrs. are entered then it is giving warning.
And if I set downward tolerance as 50% then system is showing warning for hours entered less the 4.
I want warning for hours which are between 4-8.
Do you have any idea how the setting should be in this case.

Shubham
Hi,
I understood your issue but how system can read you want to do this so for that you need to talk to abaper for Z development or define whether system could read the thing you want to do as between 4-8.
as per standard functionality system behavior is right.
rest wait for expert comment.
Regards,
Sanjeev
