Activity Codes in Maintenance Order

Hi Experts,

We have defined Damages, Causes & Activities for maintenance tasks as Catalogs.

Maintenance Order is linked to Notification (Notification is automatically created if only Order is created) So the user is able to enter Damage & Cause directly from the Order.

However it is not possible to enter Activity Code unless access to Notification,

Is it possible to enter the Activity Code from the Order itself ?

Notification data on order screen is for quick data entry (limited data). You do not have the option to enter detailed notification data. Even for Damage or Cause if you observe, only one value can be entered. If you have multiple entries, you have to access notification screen.

Alternatively, If your requirement is that user should not access the notification screen, you may also use the Overall completion confirmation (IW42). For this, define a profile (screen template) which allows "activities" on the confirmation screen.
