Purchase orders: Change source for region of destination from plant to storage location

Dear colleagues,

related to Intrastat we need to set the correct region of destination in our POs (under PO position it is under tab "Import" and there under tab "Origin/Destination/Business"). By standard the region of the plant is taken but in our case we need to take it from storage location. So in the end it must come from the storage location address. 

I tried to change that via the enhancement MMDA0001 (Default delivery addresses) but during debugging the code I saw that we won't run through that.

Does anybody know where in the code I could set this change properly?

Do you mean when creating a purchase order by transaction code ME21N, or another way?

yes, that's correct, I mean during the normal standard PO creation way via ME21N.

You're right about that. I'm not that familiar with SAP's newer community presence. The wheel is reinvented so often ... 😉
