Problem transferring parts from warehouse to warehouse.

Hello experts,

I have created a new storage location (SPH) and warehouse (also SPH) for my spare parts.  I am transferring the parts using MIGO-TR mvt 309 from the old location (SPM).  This transfer results in a negative quantity showing in a 'REPACK' bin and the positive quantity remaining in the actual source bin 'MRO', netting 0 for the SPM warehouse.  I can then use LT01 or LT10 to manually transfer the positive value in MRO to REPACK which clears it up.

Destination SPH warehouse does receive the positive quantity in REPACK bin;  I suppose this is a default or auto generated bin.

I've checked configuration and have enabled auto Transfer Order creation everywhere I could find.  What else might I be overlooking that would cause me to have to do the manual transfer?

I figured it out and will answer my own question in case someone else runs into a similar situation.

In SPRO -Logistics Execution-Warehouse Management-Activities-Transfers - Define Movement Types the 'FxdBn' boxes for source and destination bins for movement type 309 were unchecked and 'REPACK' was showing for Storage Bin. This is why the negative posting showed in REPACK;  it was drawing from a bin that showed 0 quantity of the material.   I checked the boxes and now the transfer goes between the source and destination bins specified for the material in the material master (Bin MRO;  whse view) so no negative balances show.
