Printing voided check number in case of page overflow

HI,

we have an issue when we run a check replacement for an offcycle run and if a check has an page overflow...the check printed on the second page has the same check number as on the first page. Even that would be fine; But, when I check the check registry it has voided the check for the overflow reason and created a new check number(which has never printed).

Was anyone aware of this issue or can let me know what can I check..
