MOVE STOCK FROM RESTRICTED USE TO QUALITY CONTROL OR VISCEVERSA

Hello experts!!

I'm having a problem about batchs in QM and MM.

Someone used a specific transaction which led to movements 321 (PC 14283), 331 (PC 5478)and 553 (PC 8805), now we must re-enter the free stock in the stock in quality control to allow the usage decision and and be able to deliver the pieces.

The users wish to return the stock currently in stock free (restricted?limited?) In stock in quality control (PC 14283). Unfortunately I have not managed to cancel the 321 movement, even applying an SAP Note and a specific program so now the user has asked me to move the stock in quality control (PC 30346) to the stock in limited use for ship to arrive, but I can not find how to do it ... I am having trouble understanding the use of stocks rated MMand QM rating.

If you have ideas it would be a great help for me.

If I understood your problem correctly then , you need to reverse the  movements 321 (PC 14283), 331 (PC 5478)and 553 (PC 8805),& bring back material in Quality .....

If so then

Activate 08 inspection type & do mb1b -->332 -->lot of 08 inspection type will be created.Material will be in QI stock.

Activate 08 inspection type & do mb1b -->349 -->lot of 08 inspection type will be created.Material will be in QI stock.

Activate 05 inspection type & do mb1b -->332 -->lot of 05 inspection type will be created.Material will be in QI stock

Else

Implementing SAP note : - SAP Note 175842 is best option.

After activating 08  inspection type in material master you can do the following movements to bring the material back to quality in mb1b.

322 - unrestricted to QI

349 - Block to quality

Then you need to take UD for the new inspection lot and do the stock posting as per your requirement.

Thank you for your advice! Yes that is exactly what I want. In fact, I've applied the SAP note SAP Note 175842 but it does not work for this batch, the system sends a message that states "the batch can not be reversed because there is not a UD to be reversed" so it is kind of weird....

I think that I am going to activate 08 inspection type & do mb1b with the different movements....

Do I have to activate the 08 inspection type in the material master? but....first I have to move the stock that I have in quality control, is not it? Because I can not change quality data from the material master if I have material in quality control stock.....right?

If you have more advices they are welcomed!!

Hello Smruti!

Thank you for your help! so, it means that I have to change the material master and activate 08 inspection type.....but first I have to move the articles that I have in quality control, is it not? because system will not let me change the master data if I have material in quality control...so first do I have to move my stock in quality control and after activate the 08 inspection type?
