Hi,
I want to give ME22 authorisation to some user id only after effect of one release
what setting i have to do?
Thanks
Ketan
Hi
Generally ME22n/ME22 (change purchase order) is clubbed with ME21n and ME23n authorizations, ME29n, ME28 are separated for release authorized user.
You can use Tcode PFCG for giving Me22n auth for specific user. But can you tell us the requirement exactly?
Thanks

hi
1) using the t.code su01 you have to find the roll for for the authorization has to be given
2)double clk on the rolls you can go directly T.code PFCG
3)clk on change button
4) go to autherization tab
5) clk on the change button
6)select on find icon
7) give the object s_tcode
8)enter transction code you have to autheriz for the user
9) generate and save

Hi Ketan,
I can think of one possible solution.
We have Release Code field which can be used as authorization object, we are using it.
You can create a new role with authorization to ME22 and release code combination as you want.
I will explain it with an example here.
Say you have 2-step release, Step 1 is release code A2 and Step 2 is release code A3.
When Step 1 release is done, then the release code would be A2.
While performing Step 2 user will need A3 release code.
So, if the role contains only ME22 and release code A3, user will only be able to release the PO when it is already approved in Step 1.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Prakash

Hi Ketan,
Authorization for any tcode to a particular user id is set using the basis consultant help.
Changes in the tcode(fields) or only displaying is done by basis.
To find the authority object,Tcode:SU22.

Nani.

Can you explain the logic for this requirement? In std SAP, there is no object which checks for that in ME22 or ME22n.

Vivek
