MD79: PP Demand Management- For multiple materials as input

Dear Team,

The transaction MD79 is used to display the demand requirements For the  selection criteria and download to Microsoft Excel. The initial screen

allows us to enter a material number and plant and also requirements date.

We are presently getting data by simple giving Requirement dates and plant.

But we want to execute the report by giving number of materials as input and date . But this report is allowing us to enter single material .

Our requirement is for multiple materials and we want to add some more fields .for this we tried to make new customized z report but we could not do this.

pls help on this

MD79 only allows one material as a selection criteria.

If you want to display several materials, then you should add them on the same requirements plan and use it as a selection criteria.

My client wants to see PIR data for example 10 selected materials from requirement plan of 1050 materials.

we want to execute the report by giving number of materials as input . But this report is allowing us to enter single material .pls suggest

MD79 allows only one material in selection criteria.

As Caetano mentioned you need to create PIR for your 1050 materials giving one unique Requirement Plan number so that you can refer same for your selected 10 materials in MD79 by giving Requirement Plan number.

Presently we are doing the same thing only, but our client wants provision to input multiple materials

I understand it is not achieved by Std.process , need help to make customized report

Satya,

Try with MCBZ transaction whether you can able to see the PIR for collective materials.
