Error out Outbound IDOC IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY in SAP

Based on the output type, I am triggering the outbound Idoc. But if some condition fails then I want to error out that IDOC. Idoc should get created but in error.

Where do I need to change the status of IDOC.I checked the user exit EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 and found that is not useful in this case.

Kindly suggest.

The IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY function generated DELVRY IDocs from output types. So you can check the conditions in the output determination and put the output in the error status instead of the IDoc itself.

I don't think you can influence the IDoc status with any enhancement in the IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY function.
