hi,
i am trying to perform local client copy on my IDES system.
I have created a new cliet 100 with
logical sysytem as DEVCLNT100
Automatic recording of changes
changes to repository & cross-client customizing allowed
protection level 0: no restriction
eCATT & CATT not allowed
After this i logged into 100 with sap* & pass
selected profile : SAP_ALL
source client : 000
source client user masters :000
then Test Run
i get the following error
RFC destination : FINBTR@ID3CLNT000
proceed as folows
1. create an RFC destination with the target ZK>source client of client copy(in this acse 000)
2. check RFC destination works in sm59
3. Enter the RFC destination
- Transaction: FINB_TR_DEST
- client 000
4. start the client copy again
I did exactly the same
created ZK00 and checked the connections -- connection test OK
executed tcode FINB_TR_DEST, it showed client as 000 and Destination as FINBTR@ID3CLNT000
then again started Test Run but in vain got the same error
Please advice

Hi Pankaj,
Thanks for your advice, but i am bit confussed with the note. Can you please eloborate on what this note says.
first i have created RFC in sm59 in 100 with destination ZK00 ( as the pop up specified) . or do i need to give FINBTR@ID3CLNT000.
after that in client 000 i executed FINB_TR_DEST and that showed
cleint 000
Name : SAP AG
destination: FINBTR@ID3CLNT000
here i have a doubt , should i change the destination as ZK000 or the RFC created should be FINBTR@ID3CLNT000 instead of ZK00
Please revert back.

palle
i solved this issue......
first of all u need to create a a RFC connection ZK<source client>in my case it is (ZK000) by calling sm59.. now enter de tcode FINB_TR_DEST, change the the RFC Destination to ZK000 instead of FINB@ID3CLNT000 for client 000 and save.
go to client copy n now it should work.

Hi,
The RFC should be created on this name FINBTR@ID3CLNT000.

hello,
i have created RFC ABAP connections with name FINBTR@ID3CLNT000 with target host as our host IP(10.127.128.89)
and checked for connection test.
but again not able to perform client copy
in logon&security tab i did not mention any user or client.
Do i need to mention them? if yes what ?
Regards
palle
