Document not appearing

Dear Experts,

I have uploaded a word document from my system(desktop) through CV01N tcode and saved.

Through CV02N i was able to see the document when i double clicked on it from my system.

But when i tried to open the same document from my collegue's system it gave me a message "File settings c:/desktop/... could not be found" and i was unable to see..

So how to correct it...

Hi Sajid,

based on your description I would kindly ask you if the file was checked in to a storage category or not. In case it was not checked in (lock sign is still open) the system tries to access the file in the initial filepath, which is display in the original details.

If the original is checked in (lock is closed) and any user wants to display the file then a local copy is made on the PC. This local copy is put in the directory which is maintained normally as path for the choosen Frontendtype. For more information please see the following link:
