Display Security Audit Log app - 2002 release

Hello, 

I was wondering if someone could explain me how to use the new app Display Security Audit log.

I read the following SAP blog explaining how to use it on on-promise but as this is the public cloud, it doesn't work identically.

I was wondering if we are able to create new Audit Events ? Any information about the User Name too ?

Basically any explanation would be good to take.

To your Question: I am not sure,what you meant by "Creating new Audit Events", basically the app displays information about security-relevant events that occur in your SAP system. This can be necessary in case of an audit. However, you can Configure to a personalized view:

and yes, the Username information are displayed too. .

Thank for your reply.

The links mentioned are all one pager overview of what the app "can" do. I'm looking at a detailed and extensive explanation.

The app is tracking 19 Audit Events, I would like to know if its possible to create more Audit Events than the 19 pre-configured.

Also, in almost all of these 19 Audit Events, "&A", "&B" and "&C" are mentioned. These are criterias if not mistaken, Can we configure these "&A", "&B" and "&C ?

Lastly, the user names mentioned on the app are 40 characters long and made of letters and numbers. Our user number are however all made of exactly 2 letters (CB) and 10 number following. Who are these user names on the app Display Security Audit Log ?

These are valid Questions and unfortunately to your first part of the question: we do not have an option to deviate from what already exist (19 pre-configured) at the moment other than just configuring a personalized view which I already mentioned in my initial response.

No with regard to the username, the ones that you see with 40 Characters are system generated GUIID's, however, for the one triggered by a CB user or CC user will also reflect depending on the business process(at least I see them in my internal system).

For specific issues corresponding to this app can be raised with SAP component: BC-SEC-SAL.
