Dear Kumar,

A parameter which is to be used in a standard value key must have the origin "2" and if you want to include some user defined

fields in the operation then the parameter should have the origin as 4.So check the settings in OP7B for the parameters and their

origin and work center constant should contain the origin as 1.

HI

When we define the various activities which are to be done on particular WC in Standard value key then it is called as Parameters and the same are used as parameters for various formula which are used in WC they are called as Formula parameters eg for scheduling and costing.

Dear

Work Centre Parameters : Basically , they represnt dimension as Standard values for an work centre in a ID .Like if one of the common dimension for work centre is setup , then this will reprented as one of the standrad values as SAP_001 .Likewise you can create various parameters which is applicable to work centre Capacity Caculation in Standard Value Key .

Now , if this parametres are used to define certain formula to reperesent Work Centre , then it will be Formula Parametrs .

Ultimately , they are useful in Standrad Value Key which playing important role to calcuate the various activity price through cost centre as well as they are getting used in operation timings for capacity .

Hi,

Formula parameters are used in formulas for capacity planning, scheduling, costing. A formula parameter is identified by a parameter ID. Every formula parameter is linked with a particualr field either in Customizing, the routing or the work center. When the formula is evaluated the parameter takes the value of the field.

The assignment of a formula parameter to a data field is defined in the origin. This can be standard value, WC constant,

General Formula constants,General operation values,User defined field from operation,

You need to define Formula parameter and assign this parameter in the Formulas. This formula is assigned in the cap, sch and costing tab pages.

In the standard value key definition you will be defining the activities and for this activity in the default tab page need to define the UOM under parameters.

Thanks,

nandha

Dear Kumar,

Both are same.

When we used it in Standard value key then it generally called as Parameters and when used in workcenter formula for scheduling and costing, it called as formula parameters.
