Derivation company code BPUKR instead of ABUKR to AUC for WBS via investment profile

Dear guru's

For the flow capitalize cost on WBS-elements -> Settle it to an asset under construction -> settle it towards a fixed asset. We are using the cost center as input for Z-field in the ACDOCA indicating the budget responsible which belongs to company code A -asset under construction, we want that the company code for this asset construction is not picked up from this company code (technical field

PRPRS-ABUKR), but Always from the tab assignment (technical field PRPRS-PBUKR).

The class CL_EXM_IM_WBS_FIELDS_FOR_ASSET didn't help us. I'm thinking this BADI is not called due to the fact that we are creating just asset under construction and not final assets.

Anybody ideas?

Hi Wouter,

Your Requesting Cost Center should be from the same Company code as the WBS if you wish AuC in the same Company code, so the easiest standard option is to review the roles for Requesting and Responsible cost centers in your setup. Maybe just switch them places, so Responsible is maintained as Requested and vice versa.

You have also the option not to use Requesting Cost Center and hide those two fields and use something else for a second Cost Center if it comes from another Company code.

We are now using the responsible cost center in combination with the requesting company code, whihch has to filled in manually. Not the most elegant solution, but it works. It is in exceptional flow so it was accepted by the business
